THE GROUND RULES

Terms of Service

Effective September 14, 2026

Please use the converter responsibly. These terms explain what the site does, what it does not do, and what stays in your hands.

1. Using this site

By using the converter, you agree to these terms. If they do not work for you, please do not use the site.

2. Your links, your responsibility

Only submit content you own, have permission to use, or are otherwise legally allowed to download. You are responsible for the links you submit, the files you create, and the laws and platform rules that apply to you.

3. Format and quality

A quality choice is a target, not a promise. MP4 uses the best source available at or below the resolution you choose. MP3 is encoded at the selected bitrate. Choosing a higher setting cannot add detail that is missing from the original.

4. Keep it fair

Do not use the site to bypass access controls or DRM, infringe someone else’s rights, invade privacy, distribute unlawful material, overload the server, or run abusive automation.

5. Temporary downloads

Finished files are kept only for a short time and may disappear without notice. Download your result when it is ready and keep your own copy if you need it.

6. YouTube and other services

YouTube and any advertising providers are independent services with their own terms and privacy practices. This site is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by YouTube.

7. Availability

A conversion may wait in a queue, run slowly, fail, or be limited because of the source video, network conditions, maintenance, or server capacity. Access may also be limited when needed to keep the service safe and stable.

8. Liability

The converter is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent allowed by law, the operator is not responsible for losses, claims, penalties, missing files, or disputes connected to your use. You remain responsible for the legal consequences of your activity.

9. Updates

These terms may change as the service changes. If you continue using the site after an update, the updated terms will apply.
